Cottage - Excellent!
Location - Excellent!
Village - Excellent!
Residents - Excellent
In the shops you will see signs which say 'A lovely lady lives here with a miserable old man' - I am that miserable old man - so if I say it's excellent it's only because it is.

We had a wonderful time in Port Isaac and in many beautiful cornish towns. Atlantic View is the perfect place to stay, with best views in town. Everything well organised, clean and comfortable. We hope to be back one day and will recommend it to family and friends. Thanks John, Malvenia, Helen and Richard. Guests from the USA

We hope to come back again sometime. We loved it here Cottage is so homely, and convenient for everything. The description of the place does not do it justice.

:

We had a fantasti stay here at Atlantic View. It was very clean and having a young baby the facilities you provided, changing mats, hish chairs etc were really accommodating. We loved Port Isaac and we are big fans of Doc Martin so was great to see all the famous landmarks. We would love to come back to Atlantic View in the future.

7 days in Pt Isaac - wow! Everything was wonderful, exciting, amazing. We loved it. "Atlantic View" is a gem! - Guests from Queensland, Australia

:

Atlantic View was everything that we had hoped for, and then some!! We loved it here - our first, & hopefuly not our last, visit to Pt Isaac. Clean, cozy, quiet, functional AND WHAT VIEWS!! The location too is just great.
For all its charm, down in the harbour area is too 'busy' with curious tourists to stay anywhere there. This cliff top house is perfect!

Places we can recommend:
The picturesque village (& churches) of St. Neot and Altarnun around Bodmin Moor*. Restomel Castle especially now - pink campion & bluebells covering the mound.
* Golitha Falls - also by Bodmin Moor. So serene! The Eden project isn't too far away. Tintagel and Boscastle is a nice 1/2 day's adventure
I hope everyone enjoys Atlantic View as much as we have!

Thank you for a lovely cottage!
We've enjoyed our visit very much and will be back next year!

:

Had a lovely stay, so handy for pubs and restaurants. Come back to Port Isaac at least once a year, this is the cosiest cottage we have been in. Thank you for welcome gifts.

:

Had a lovely week, weather has been excellent - so lucky!
The cottage is beautiful - Port Isaac was a great base we visited lots of lovely places - Bude being our favorite. Thank you again a lovely cottage with stunning views

p.s. Would recommend the Cider Farm - well worth a visit, but you may have to toss a coin to choose a driver as you can sample all the different cider's - a great day.

Have had a really lovely time and so lucky with the weather after the past few weeks of storms and floods. Cottage is so well equipped & thought out & the views are fantastic. Its so cosy we haven't used the fire at all.
Port Isaac is a great place to stay and the walks from the cottage are stunning. Hardly use the car apart from visits to Boscastle, Perranporth beach (3 miles and lovely to walk) and Polzeath.
Enjoyed eating in local restaurants & drinking in local pub The Golden Lion although balcony was closed due to recent storms. This is a great time of year to visit as so nice and quiete but imaging August pretty busy!
We will almost certainly come back to Atlantic View soon.

Thank you

p.s. Loved the pool table too!

:

Fabulous holiday in a great cottage, thank you. Fabulous views from every window. Port Isaac is a great village and an ideal spot to use as a homebase for different "adventures" each day. One suggestion, maybe you could store one of the Doc Martin series in your DVD collection so visitors could watch and then go and "explore" the different "locations" in the Village!!!
Once again,
Thank you for a great week

We've had a lovely fortnight in Port Isaac. The house has been a great base, especially for its kitchen utensils: plenty of everything you could wish for, some measuring spoons would have been useful though. Eaten out twice at the Edge Restaurant - amazing local food, not to be missed out on! The Trevathan, Strawberry Farm Shop + Restaurant is great and we all loved the Cornish Cream Tea Ice-Cream. The farm shop there has great gifts and local produce. Walking along the costal path the Port Quinn is quite hard work - not for the faint hearted and we suggest wearing long pants due to the flies and long grasses. Cycling along the Camel Trail was another great idea and lots of fun on a tandem. We preferred the Eden Project to the Lost Gardens of Heligan but still worth a visit. Thanks for everything - the biscuits especially were enjoyed after a long journey. We think that the pictures on your website don't do this place justice.

Lovely house with all the amenities you might need supplied. We have a 12 week old baby & brought all of her stuff as I wasn't sure of the quality / condition of the items here & I am pleased to say we didn't need any of our own - the condition & standard of baby items was excellent.

Views are stunning & the information folder / pack was excellent. Only downsides are access to anywhere with a pushchair is difficult (rocky path to coastal path & overgrown inaccessible path) & access to drive is very tight.!

We used the house as a base & travelled each day. We would highly recommend the drive to St Ives, Rock, (get the ferry there to) Padstow & Polzeath. We will not return to Bodmin or Newquay....!

Food at the Mote is 1st class - worth the price.

We will definately visit Port Isaac & would not hesitate to book here again.

Fantastic cottage. So well equipped. Views are amazing. Weather has been terrible, but still great to watch the sea and chill out in a beautiful home. Choux Bakery do brilliant pasties, cakes and bread. Can recommend REGAL cinema in Wadebridge. A really lovely relaxing holiday in a lovely home where you have gone the extra mile for home comforts. Thank you. Kate and Andy - Hampshire

:

A very relaxing and wonderful property with excellent facilities and views. Many great day trips are within easy reach from atlantic view. Boscastle pls Rock 'n' ferry to Padstow are a trip worth doing.

Thank you for a superb accommodation

Atlantic View is a wonderful cottage, situated in a perfect location for exploring all that Cornwall has to offer. The cottage really does cater for all of your needs. Everything is well labelled & explained and there are lots of leaflets hinting at places to visit.

We recommend Rock Beach then heading up to Padstow via the ferry (great shopping)

Trebarwith Strand for rock pools + surf (Polzeath too)

Boscastle for history + the info on it's recent flooding.

If you fancy a drive St Ives is a must.

We have stayed at lots of holiday cottages over the years and this is by far the best. Top of the list.

What wonderful accommodation in such an idyllic setting. You have thought of everything to make our stay so perfect. The house is warn and inviting. Even though it is early October we have been so lucky with the weather; relatively mild and little rain. We are sad to have to leave! Thank you so much.

This is by far the most comfortable, and so well appointed, holiday cottage we have stayed in. We have "soaked-up" the beautiful views around & enjoyed the position here to the full. We would love a return visit sometime in the future. Many thanks to you.
